Neighbors News - (S. Korean President Park Geun-hye, China's H7N9 case report, Japan to promote S. East maritime safety)

A rally continues after South Korean President Park Geun-hye scandal revealed.

Since October 29, 2016 consecutive rallies are observed calling to resign President Park of Seoul. The South Korean parliament voted to impeach the president on Dec. 9 in wake of an influence-peddling scandal involving Park's "shadow adviser" Choi Soon-sil. The Constitutional Court has now six months to decide upon the validity of the parliament's impeachment of Park.

Avian Influenza A reported in Central China.

In Zhuzhou City, Hunan province, a 37 year old was infected by H7N9 avian flu. Aside from that, there were a recent two bird flu strain case reported in Shenzhen City in south China's Guangdong Province.

Japan is planning to organize a body to patronize maritime safety in Southeast Asia.

According to Japan’s Coast Guard official, they are creating an organization in response to territorial claims like the disputes in South China Sea and also to enhance the ability to respond to natural disasters and piracy to help Southeast Asian countries in their maritime safety capabilities.
