- TROPICAL DEPRESSION "URDUJA" IS NOW OUTSIDE THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (PAR).

Sea travel remains risky over the western seaboard of Palawan due to the surge of Northeast Monsoon. However, the new Low Pressure Area (LPA) has a possibility to enter PAR tomorrow (December 20).

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today,the center of Tropical Depression "URDUJA" (KAI-TAK)was estimated based on all available data at 230km West Northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan(10.2N, 116.7E) with maximum winds of 45 km/hnear the center and gustiness of up to 60 km/h. It is forecast to move West Southwest at 15 km/h. Tail-End of a Cold Front affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:

The Trough of TD "URDUJA" will bring Cloudy skies withscattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in Palawan.

Tail-End of a Cold Front will bring Cloudy skies withscattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in The provinces of Cagayan, Isabela and Aurora.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley and of Central Luzon will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rains due to "Amihan" or Northeast Monsoon.

The rest of the country will/may experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized thunderstorms.
