PAG-ASA Weather Update as of today, 12 December 2017.

As of today, 12 December 2017 - there is A Low Pressure Area (LPA)  estimated based on all available data at 450km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (9.0N, 129.5E).

As of today, there is no Tropical Cyclone within Philippine Area of Responsibility however, the LPA if develops will be name "URDUJA".


Additional Synopsis: Tail-End of a Cold Front affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, andQuezon province will experience Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Tail-End of a Cold Front.

The provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas and Rizal will experience Cloudy skies withscattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to also the Tail-End of a Cold Front.

Trough of a Low Pressure Area will bring in places of Mindanao, MIMAROPA and rest of Visayas a Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Northeast Monsoon will bring Cloudy skies with scattered rains Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley region and Aurora and will bring Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in The regions of Cordillera, Ilocos and rest of Central Luzon.
