PHIVOLCS earthquake track for the 3.8 magnitude spotted today, 13 January 2018.

Different intensities were reported in nearby places in Eastern Samar and Leyte.

13 Jan 2018 - 02:19:24 AM, a 3.8 magnitude was spotted at distance of 11.37°N, 125.41°E - 017 km S 35° W of Maydolong (Eastern Samar) with depth focus of 33 kilometers. According to the report issued 13 January 2018 - 11:42 AM prepared by "KMG/LJAG/MTM", its origin is "Tectonic". The earthquake has reported with no expecting damage or aftershocks but intensities were reported in nearby places.

Reported Intensities:

Intensity IV- Maydolong, Lawaan, Balangkayan and Llorente, Eastern Samar
Intensity III - Tacloban City, Borongan City and Salcedo, Eastern Samar
Intensity II - Palo, Tolosa and Dulag, Leyte

Instrumental Intensities:
Intensity III - Borongan City
Intensity II - Catbalogan City; Palo, Leyte
