|PHIVOLCS earthquake track for the 4.9 magnitude spotted today, 14 January 2018.|

14 Jan 2018 - 11:20 PM, a 4.9 Magnitude was spotted at distance of 033 km S 89° W of Paluan (Occidental Mindoro) with depth of Focus of 33 kilometers. Not more than 30 minutes another earthquake shaken close to the first one but more stronger with 5.2 Magnitude, the highest recorded for this year with depth focus of 4 kilometers spotted at distance of 13.41°N, 120.23°E - 026 km 00 West of Paluan (Occidental Mindoro).
According to the report issued 14 January 2018 - 11:28 PM and 14 January 2018 - 11:53 PM by KMG/LJAG/ASME, the two earthquakes origin were both "Tectonic". The two earthquakes reported has no expecting damage or aftershocks but intensities were reported in nearby places.

Intensity II- Tagaytay City, Calatagan, Batangas and Calapan, Oriental Mindoro
Reported Intensities for the 5.2 Magnitude:
