PAGASA: New Low Pressure Area (LPA) as of February 24, 2018.

Low Pressure Area (LPA) at right side outside PAR is still being monitored by PAGASA - image satellite as of 9:00 PM today, 24 Feb 2018.

PAGASA Weather Update as of 4:00 PM today, 24 February 2018 

At 3:00 pm today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 290km Southeast of Davao City, Davao del Sur (5.7N, 127.9E). Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.

LPA will bring Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms in places of Mindanao and Eastern Visayas. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to occasionally heavy rains.

Trough of LPA will bring Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in the Rest of Visayas and Bicol region. Possible flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains

Northeast Monsoon will bring Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos Region.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized thunderstorms.
