PAGASA: TD "HENRY" has made landfall over Camiguin Island issued 11:00 PM, 16 July 2018.

Tropical Cyclone: WARNING 

ISSUED AT:11:00 PM, 16 July 2018 
TROPICAL DEPRESSION "HENRY" HAS MADE LANDFALL OVER CAMIGUIN ISLAND, CAGAYAN, AND IS NOW TRAVERSING THE BABUYAN GROUP OF ISLANDS.

Occasional rains with gusty winds are expected over the areas under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS) #1 below:

Batanes, northern portion of Cagayan including Babuyan Group of Islands, northern portion of Apayao and northern portion of Ilocos Norte.


Location of eye/center: At 10:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression "HENRY" was estimated based on all available data at 60 km Southeast of Calayan, Cagayan (18.8 °N, 121.8 °E)
Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 60 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 75 kph
Forecast Movement: moving West at 25
Forecast Positions: 24 Hour(Tomorrow evening): 835 km West of Calayan, Cagayan (OUTSIDE PAR)(19.3°N, 113.5°E)
48 Hour(Wednesday evening):1,570 km West of Calayan, Cagayan (OUTSIDE PAR)(19.5°N, 106.5°E)
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring monsoon rains over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro Provinces, Palawan and Western Visayas, and scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the rest of the country. Residents of these areas, especially those living in low-lying and mountainous areas, are advised to continue monitoring for updates, coordinate with their local disaster risk reduction and management offices, and take appropriate actions against possible flooding and landslides.

Fisherfolks and those with small seacrafts are advised not to venture out over the seaboards of areas under TCWS #1 and the western seaboard of Luzon due to moderate to rough seas associated with the approaching Tropical Depression and the Southwest Monsoon.

"HENRY" is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow (17 July) morning.
