TROPICAL DEPRESSION "HENRY" HAS MAINTAINED ITS STRENGTH AS IT MOVES TOWARDS THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON.

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "HENRY" was estimated based on all available data at 530 km East of Calayan, Cagayan (18.9 N, 126.5 E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. Moving West Southwest at 25 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of the country.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS

Batanes, northern portion of Cagayan including Babuyan Group of Islands, northern portion of Apayao, and northern portion of Ilocos Norte will experience Rains with gusty winds due to Tropical Depression (TD). Possible flooding and landslides due to light to moderate  with occasional heavy rains.

 Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro, Palawan and Western Visayas will expereince Monsoon rain due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of  Luzon will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon/TD. Possible flooding and landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

 The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by Localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods  or landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains.
