PAGASA Weather Update as of 4:00 PM 15 July 2018.

SYNOPSIS:    At  3:00 PM today,  the  Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at  780 km East of Basco, Batanes  (19.9 °N, 129.4 °E).  Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of the country.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:

Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro, Palawan, and Western Visayas will experience Monsoon rains due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, the rest of CALABARZON and Central Luzon, Marinduque, and Romblon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains

The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by Localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods  or landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains

July 16

By monday (july 16), the enhanced "habagat" will bring monsoon rains over zambales, bataan, cavite, batangas, mindoro provinces and palawan. metro manila, rest of central luzon, bicol region, rest of calabarzon  and of mimaropa, and western visayas will experience occassional rains. the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers  or thunderstorms.
