PAGASA Weather Update for LPA and Habagat as of 5:00 PM 27 July 2018.

SYNOPSIS: At 3PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data in the 80 km East Northeast of Infanta, Quezon (15.1 N, 122.3 E). Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Luzon and Visayas. TROPICAL CYCLONE ADVISORY TYPHOON "JONGDARI" LOCATION OF CENTER (3PM): 2, 345 KM EAST NORTHEAST OF EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON (OUTSIDE PAR) (26.6 N, 144.0 E) MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 140 KM/HR NEAR THE CENTER GUSTINESS: UP TO 170 KM/HR MOVEMENT: EAST NORTHEAST @ 25 KM/H
FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:

Mindoro provinces and Northern Palawan will experience Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms due to LPA. Possible flooding and landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains

Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Central Luzon and Bicol Region, Marinduque and Romblon will experience Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms due to LPA. Possible flooding and landslides due to light to moderate rains.

Visayas and the rest of Palawan will experience Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon/ Trough of LPA. Possible flooding and landslides due to light to moderate rains.

The rest of the Country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flooding and landslides due to  scattered rains or thunderstorms.
