TYPHOON "GARDO" HAS MAINTAINED ITS STRENGTH AND IS HEADING TOWARDS NORTHERN TAIWAN AREA.

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the eye of Typhoon "Gardo" was located based on all available data at 585 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes (24.8 N, 125.2 E) with maximum sustained winds of 180 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 245 km/h. Moving West Northwest at 30 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:
The provinces of Bataan, Zambales, Palawan and Mindoro will experience Monsoon rains due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods  or landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains

 Metro Manila,  CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, rest of Central Luzon, Marinduque and Romblon will experience an occasional rains due to Southwest Monsoon.
