PAGASA Weather Forecast as for Typhoon "Soulik" and Northeast Monsoon as of 4:00 AM 18 August 2018.

SYNOPSIS:  Southwest Monsoon  affecting the northern and western sections of Luzon. Meanwhile, at  3:00 AM today, the eye  of  Typhoon  SOULIK  was located based on all available data at  1,870 km  East  of Extreme Northern Luzon  (24.2 °N, 139.7 °E)[OUTSIDE PAR] with maximum sustained winds of 125  km/h near the center and gustiness of up to  155 km/h. It is moving  West  Northwest  at  10  km/h.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITION

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, CAR, Cagayan Valley Region,  Western Visayas,   Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro,and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to  scattered rains and thunderstorms.

The rest of  the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to occasionally heavy rains or thunderstorms .
