SYNOPSIS:  At 3:00 PM today,  the center of Tropical  Storm "KARDING"  {YAGI}  was estimated based on all available data at 1,080 km East Northeast of  Basco, Batanes  (22.8 °N, 132.1 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 75  km/h  near the center and gustiness of up to 90  km/h. Moving  West slowly.  Southwest Monsoon affecting the whole country.

LOCATION: 1,155 KM WEST OF EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON (OUTSIDE PAR)(20.1N, 110.9E)  
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 55 KPH  
GUSTINESS: UP TO 75 KPH  
MOVEMENT: NORTH NORTHEAST SLOWLY

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:

Metro Manila, Batanes,  Babuyan Group of Islands, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA will experience Monsoon Rains due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to moderate to occasional heavy rains.

Bicol Region, Western Visayas and the rest of Cagayan Valley Region will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to  Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms will experience due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to occasionally heavy rains or thunderstorms.
