PAGASA Weather Update for TD "Rumbia" and "Habagat"as of 4:00 PM 15 August 2018.

SYNOPSIS:  Southwest Monsoon  affecting the western section of Luzon. Meanwhile, at  3:00 PM today, the center of  Tropical Depression RUMBIA  was estimated based on all available data at  1,010  km North Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon  (28.3 °N, 127.0 °E)[OUTSIDE PAR]  with maximum sustained winds of 60 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 75 km/h. It is moving North Northwest at 25 km/h.

TROPICAL DEPRESSION  LEEPI
LOCATION (AS OF 3PM): 1,760 KM NORTH NORTHEAST OF EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON (34.9 °N, 129.2 °E)[OUTSIDE PAR]
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 55 KM/H NEAR THE CENTER
GUSTINESS: UP TO 90 KM/H
MOVEMENT:  NORTH NORTHWEST AT 20 KM/H 


FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience Monsoon Rains due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to moderate to occasional heavy rains.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Zambales, and Bataan will experience Cloudy skies scattered rains and thunderstorm due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of  the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to occasionally heavy rains or thunderstorms.
