SYNOPSIS:  At 3:00 AM today,  the center of Tropical  Storm "KARDING"  {YAGI}  was estimated based on all available data at  990 km East Northeast of  Basco, Batanes  (24.2 °N, 130.7 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 75  km/h  near the center and gustiness of up to 90  km/h. Moving Northwest  at 25 km/h.  Southwest Monsoon affecting the whole country.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS

Metro Manila, Batanes,  Babuyan Group of Islands, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA will experience Monsoon Rains due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to moderate to occasional heavy rains.

Bicol Region, Western and Eastern Visayas and the rest of Cagayan Valley Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to scattered rains and thunderstorms.
