SYNOPSIS:  Southwest Monsoon affecting the  Luzon and Visayas.   Meanwhile, at 3:00 PM today,  the center of Tropical  Storm "KARDING"  {YAGI}  was estimated based on all available data at  805 km Northeast of  Basco, Batanes  (25.1 °N, 128.0 °E) [OUTSIDE PAR] with maximum sustained winds of 75  km/h  near the center and gustiness of up to 90  km/h. Moving West  at 25 km/h.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:

Metro Manila, Batanes,  Babuyan Group of Islands, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA will experience Monsoon Rains due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to moderate to occasional heavy rains.

Western Visayas and the rest of  Luzon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to occasionally heavy rains or thunderstorm.
