PAGASA Weather Update for Typhoon Maymay as of 4:00 PM 02 September 2018.

SYNOPSIS:  At  3:00 PM today, the eye of Typhoon "MAYMAY" {JEBI} was located based on all available data at 1,375 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes (23.9 °N, 134.8 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 190 km/h near the eye and gustiness of up to 235 km/h. Moving Northwest at 25 km/h.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:

CALABARZON,  Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Trough of Typhoon "MAYMAY".  Possible flash floods and landslides due to  severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the  rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized thunderstorms.  Possible flash floods and landslides due to  severe thunderstorms.
