SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the eye of TYPHOON "PAENG" was located based on all available data at 740 km East of Basco, Batanes (19.6°N, 129.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 200 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 240 km/h. It is moving West Northwest at 10 km/h.

NCR Weather Situation: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of NCR-PRSD forecast areas. Light to moderate winds blowing from northwest to west will prevail and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate while moderate to rough over Quezon Province.
