SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the eye of Typhoon "QUEENIE" was located based on all available data at 1,080 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (18.2 N, 131.9 E) with maximum sustained winds of 200 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 245 km/h. It is moving Northwest at 15 km/h.

NCR Weather Situation: Metro Manila and the rest of NCR-PRSD forecast area will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds coming from northeast to east will prevail over these areas and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate while rough to very rough along the coast of Northern Quezon including Polillo Island.
