SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon "QUEENIE"was located based on all available data at 1,250 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan(17.4N, 133.5E)with maximum sustained winds of190 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 235 km/h. It is movingNorthwest at15 km/h.

NCR Weather Situation: Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms is expected over Quezon, Laguna and Rizal. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of NCR-PRSD forecast areas. Light to moderate winds blowing from northeast will prevail and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
