SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 670 km East Northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (12.5 °N,131.7 °E). Tail End of a Cold Front affecting Visayas.
REGIONAL FORECAST
Eastern and Central Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Tail End of a Cold Front. Possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Batangas, Cavite, Laguna and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with isolated rains and thunderstorms due to Volcanic Activity. Possible reduced visibility and mudflow during ashfall and light to moderate rains.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. Possible occasional strong winds especially in coastal and mountainous areas.
Ilocos Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. Possible intermittent strong winds especially in coastal and mountainous areas.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
