PAGASA Weather Forecast Update for New LPA as of 05:00 AM 29 April 2020.



ISSUED AT 5:00 AM, 29 April 2020

SYNOPSIS: A Low Pressure Area (LPA) is embedded on the Intertropical Convergence Zone. At 3:00AM, the Low Pressure Area is located at 910 km. East Southeast of Davao City, Davao del Sur (5.2 °N, 133.8 °E). The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Mindanao. 

REGIONAL FORECAST
Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental and Sarangani will experience Cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ. Possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorm.
Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience Cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeasterly Surface Windflow. No significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Easterlies / Localized thunderstorms. No significant impact.
