PAGASA Weather Forecast Update for New LPA as of 04:00 PM 29 April 2020.



ISSUED AT 4:00 PM, 29 April 2020

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 920 km East Southeast of Davao City (5.0 °N, 133.8 °E) It is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting the eastern section of Mindanao.

REGIONAL FORECAST
Caraga and Davao Region will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ. Possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorm.
Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience Cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeasterly Surface Windflow. No significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized thunderstorms. No significant impact.
