"AMBO" MAINTAINS ITS STRENGTH WHILE MOVING SLOWLY NORTHWESTWARD.

Synopsis: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "Ambo" was estimated based on all available data at 285 km East Northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or 340 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (9.6 °N, 128.6 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is moving towards the North Northwest at 15 km/h.

Forecast Weather Conditions:

Mindanao will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Trough of TD -Ambo-. Possible flash floods or landslides due to at times heavy rainshowers.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.  [1]
