"AMBO" MAINTAINS ITS STRENGTH WHILE REMAINING ALMOST STATIONARY OVER THE PHILIPPINE SEA.
Synopsis: At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression "Ambo" was estimated based on all available data at 410 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (10.1 °N, 129.2 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is moving North Northeast slowly.

Mindanao and Eastern Visayas will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Trough of TD -Ambo-. Possible flash floods or landslides due to at times heavy rainshowers.
