SYNOPSIS: SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 75 km East of Borongan City, Eastern Samar (11.4 °N, 126.1 °E). It is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan and Visayas. Southwesterly Windflow affecting Mindanao.
This weather disturbance may develop into a tropical depression in the next 48 hours.
Forecast Weather Conditions
Marinduque, Romblon, Bicol Region, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Central and Eastern Visayas will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to LPA / ITCZ. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Western Visayas and the rest of Mindanao will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to Southwesterly Windflow. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
