SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm "LEON" (NOUL) was estimated based on all available data at 215 km West Northwest of Coron, Palawan (12.8 °N, 118.4 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 10 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.
FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS
MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, and Negros Oriental Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms due to TS / Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, Mindanao, rest of Visayas, and the provinces of Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, and Cagayan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to TS / Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
