SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 360 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes (14.2 °N, 127.5 °E). Meanwhile, another LPA was estimated based on all available data at 425 km West of Sangley Point, Cavite City, Cavite (14.0 °N, 117.0 °E). Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Northeasterly Surface Windflow affecting Extreme Northern Luzon.
FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS
Visayas, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to SW Monsoon / LPA. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeasterly Surface Windflow. No Significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms / SW Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
