SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 85 km West Southwest of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro (13.0 °N, 120.5 °E). Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

LOCATION OF THE EYE: 1,435 KM NORTHEAST OF EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON (28.8 °N, 132.8 °E)
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 120 KM/H NEAR THE CENTER
GUSTINESS: UP TO 150 KM/H
MOVEMENT: NORTHWARD AT 15 KM/H
FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS
Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to LPA / Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Northeasterly Surface Windflow. No significant impact.
