Compensation and Benefits for Local Officials and Employees

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation and Incentives for all officials and employees in the Philippines:

1. Monthly Salary - the amount is indicated in the face of appointment
2. Personnel Economic Relief Allowance (PERA) - 2,000.00/month
   
3. Clothing Allowance - 6,000.00/annum (if the employee shall render at least 6 months of service during the year)
4. 13th Month Pay/ Year-End Bonus - the same amount as monthly basic salary
5. 14th Month Pay/ Mid-Year Bonus - the same amount as monthly basic salary 
6. Cash Gift - 5,000.00/annum
7. Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI)*** - 5,000.00/annum
   
8. Service Recognition Incentive (SRI)*** - maximum of 20,000.00/annum

***The release of the incentive shall be governed by guidelines to be released by the DBM

Additional benefits for select officials/employees:

1. Representation Allowance (RA) and Transportation Allowance (TA) - for Elective Officials, Department Heads and Assistant Department Heads
   
2. Allowances as provided for by RA 7305 or Magna Carta for Public Health Workers - for personnel in the Municipal Health Office
3. Allowances as provided for by RA 9433 or Magna Carta for Social Workers - for personnel in the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office
