What happened?

September 21, 2015 (Monday), two identified gunmen abducted two foreign nationals and a filipino citizen before midnight of that day in Samal Island. It is said on news report that suspects were aboard two motorized bancas and fled to Pantukan, Compostella Valley and werer found at the shores of Governor Generoso in Davao Oriental City on the next day, Tuesday.

Government action.

Malacañang said that Anti- Kidnapping Group of police are hunting down the suspects, coordinating with the eastern Mindanao Command of the AFP and the president was still monitoring this case. (Communication Secretary Herminio Coloma, Jr.)
