40% of China's online goods are fake and low quality.

58.7% of China's traded goods online are genuine

Nov. 3, 2015 -  According to the Philippine News Agency (PNA), 58.7% more than half of items traded online are of good quality and genuine last year. The report was delivered to Chinese lawmakers on Monday.

In 2014 the country received 77,800 complaints concerning online order with 356.6% increase rate according to implementation of the Law on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Consumers.

According to the Ministry of Commerce the turnover of the country's online retail increased by 40 percent annually to 2.8 trillion yuan (USD442 billion) last year.

This urged accelerated legislation in e-commerce, improved supervision and clarification of consumers' rights and sellers' responsibilities.
