June 2016 - Sen. JV Ejercito, ipinaaaresto ng Sandiganbayan dahil sa kasong Technical Malversation.

Nakapagpiyansa si Sen. JV Ejercito para sa kasong technical malversation na kaniyang kinakaharap kaugnay ng maanomalya umanong pamimili ng San Juan LGU ng matataas na kalibre ng armas.

Former PNP Chief Alan Purisima Graft Case

June 2016 - Naghain na not guilty plea si dating PNP Chief Alan Purisima sa kasong graft kaugnay ng maanomalyang courier service deal noong 2011.

Former Makati Mayor Junjun Binay, 2 counts of graft and 6 counts of falsification

Februry 19, 2016 - The Office of the Ombudsman on Friday, February 19, filed 8 criminal charges against dismissed Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin "Junjun" Binay Jr, son of the Vice President, and other city government officials in connection with the alleged overpriced Makati City Hall Parking Building II contract of the P2.28-billion project, undertaken from 2007 to 2013. • Gerardo San Gabriel, bids and awards committee vice chair and General Services Department chief
• Pio Kenneth Dasal, city legal officer

• Charged with 5 counts of falsification and one count of graft is Manolito Uyaco, BAC secretariat head and Internal Management Control Officer.

Co-accused in both graft charges are:

Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales on Thursday(May 19, 2016) said she will be inhibiting from cases involving presumptive president Rodrigo Duterte and his family due to her ties with them. "I have been inhibiting in cases involving the Dutertes, involving Sara, involving presumptive president-elect Duterte even before he became a presumptive president-elect," she said. May 5, 2015 - Trillanes files plunder complaint vs. Duterte. Trillanes claimed that Duterte has 11,000 ghost employees with a budget of P708 million that are on the payroll of the Davao City government.

Reacting to Trillanes's claims, Duterte's spokesperson, Salvador Panelo, had said his camp will file libel and perjury charges against Trillanes after the elections.

Duterte was found guilty by the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) of violating Republic Act 9710 or the Magna Carta of Women over his joke in relation to the murder and gang rape case of an Australian missionary in 1989.  “We can only hope so (that they would file the cases).
