Typhoon "NINA" damages.
According to Executive director Ricardo Jalad of National
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Tuesday, 27 Dec, 2016 there
are 25,959 families in CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Regions V and VIII which is equal
to 429,485 individuals in 384 barangays. (PNA-Nepomuceno, 2016)

"Nina" affected families were placed at 424,223 or around 1,893,404 individuals in 1,698 barangays in CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and Regions V and VIII.

- Casualties: 6 dead and 19 other missing. Updates: Three persons were also confirmed dead and 21 still missing in CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and Region VIII. (Last Update: 01/02/2017)
- Road and Bridges: 13 road sections and three bridges are still not passable due to debris in Region II, MIMAROPA, Regions V and VIII.
- Power Interruption: there some 144 areas in CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and Region V.
- Electric Power Lines: down of 11 power lines in CALABARZON and Region V.
