NTC ordered ISPs to blocked Porn Sites against Anti-Child Pornography Law.

NTC ordered ISPs to blocked top porn sites: Pornhub, Xvideos, and Redtube...

For affected online users, a message saying, "This website has been ordered blocked under authority of the Philippine Government pursuant to Republic Act 9775 or the Anti-Child Pornography Law" is displayed on screen.

According to Assistant Secretary Allan Cabanlog told GMA News that the National Telecommunication Commission or NTC found 80% of cybercrimes in the country were related to child pornography.

January 14, 2017, the NTC has since ordered ISPs to block porn sites found to contain child porn pursuant to Republic Act 9775 or the Anti-Child Pornography Law.

Smart and Sun Cellular users, could no longer access the sites on portable devices or desktop computers.
 But Globe users and other ISPs can still access the sites.

Pornhub recently reported visitors in the Philippines spent the longest average time on its site.

The average viewing time in the Philippines was 12 minutes and 45 seconds, said Pornhub - about three minutes longer than the global average.
