On this 9th day of January 1945, the United States Army under General Douglas MacArthur landed at Bonuan (Blue Beach) in Lingayen, Pangasinan and San Fabian, Pangasinan near Dagupan, which liberation forces fanned out without resistance to Central Luzon. (Kahimyang, 01-09-2017)
The Japanese forces at that time including the air support was short enough that can’t resist the unexpected force of MacArthur.
