SSS, PHILHEALTH AND PAG-IBIG TEAM UP FOR A SEMINAR ON BATAS KASAMBAHAY

One-Stop-Shop Seminar on R.A. 10361

Based on DFA site posted this August 29, 2017, over 30 participants consisting of DFA employees and household workers (HSWs) attended the One-Stop-Shop Seminar on R.A. 10361, or the Domestic Workers Act or Batas Kasambahay at the CMOAS Conference Room, DFA Building.

Ms. Sharon Ramiscal of Pag-IBIG Fund, Ms. Annabelle Llanto of PhilHealth, and Mr. Jeric Mallari of Social Security System (SSS) underscored to the participants that household employers are mandated by the law to register their kasambahay with the aforementioned agencies within one month of employment. The resource speakers also discussed the membership benefits, savings plans, programs and packages available to kasambahay members.
