Low Pressure Area near Mindanao
FOR:Low Pressure Area (LPA)ISSUED AT: 9:45 AM 11 November 2017
At 8:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 595 km East of General Santos City, South Cotabato (5.4N, 130.5E). This weather system will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over the regions of Caraga, Davao, SOCCSKSARGEN and the province of Misamis Oriental which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Recently at 3:00 AM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was located based on all available data at 875 km East of Davao City, Davao del Sur (6.8N, 133.7E). Sources:
