PAG-ASA Severe Weather Update for TP: URDUJA issued at 5:00 PM today.

TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING SIGNAL #1  (30-60kph expected in 36 hrs) in Eastern Samar

ISSUED AT:5:00 PM, 13 December 2017  - TROPICAL DEPRESSION "URDUJA" HAS SLIGHTLY CHANGED ITS COURSE AS IT CONTINUES TO MOVE CLOSER TO SORSOGON - NORTHERN SAMAR AREA.

• Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 350 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.
• Scattered to widespead rains is expected over Visayas and Bicol Region.
• Fishfolks and those with small seacrafts are advised not to venture out over the eastern seaboard of Bicol Region, of Eastern Visayas due to moderate to rough seas associated with the approaching Tropical Depression.

SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression "URDUJA" was estimated based on all available data at 395 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (11.2 °N, 129.3 °E) with Maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 65 kph moving  Northwest at 7 kph.

FORECAST Tracking Update as of 5:00 PM, 13 December 2017

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, TropicalDepression"URDUJA"was estimated based on all available data at415km East of Guiuan,Eastern Samar (11.1N, 129.5E) with maximum winds of 55 km/h and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. It is forecast to move Northwest at 7 km/h.

TD "URDUJA" will bring Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms in places of Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.

A Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in places of Mindanao, the rest of Visayas, the regions of MIMAROPA and CALABARZON.

Northeast Monsoon will bring Cloudy skies with scattered rains in the regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Central Luzon and Partly cloudy to cloudy skieswith isolated light rains in places of Metro Manila and Ilocos Region.
