PAGASA Weather Forecast Condition for today, 23 December 2017.

DOST-PAGASA TRACKING FORECAST FOR TROPICAL STORM VINTA  FOR TODAY 23, DECEMBER 2017. The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next Severe Weather Bulletin


Weather Condition for the whole Country.

SEVERE TROPICAL STORM “VINTA” HAS FURTHER INTENSIFIED AS IT CONTINUES TO MOVE CLOSER TO BALABAC, PALAWAN - ISSUED AT:8:00 PM, 23 December 2017.

At 7:00 PM today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm "VINTA" was estimated based on all available data at 255 km South Southwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan or 80 km East of Balabac, Palawan (07.7 °N, 117.7 °E) with Maximum sustained winds of 100 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 135 kph moving West at 22 kph.

Landfall: Possible landfall or in the vicinity of Balabac, Palawan between 10:00 PM tonight and 12:00 AM tomorrow. PAR Exit: Expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility between tomorrow (24 December) morning and afternoon. 

Southern Palawan will experience Stormy conditon due to STS "VINTA".

STS "VINTA" will bring Rains with Gusty winds in the Rest of Palawan.

The Trough of STS "VINTA" will bring Cloudy skies withscattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in Zamboanga Peninsula.

Tail End of a Cold Front will bring Cloudy skies withscattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in Bicol region, rest of MIMAROPA andQuezon province.

Northeast Monsoon will bring Cloudy skies with scattered rains in Cagayan Valley region and Coridllera Administrative region and Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The Rest of the Country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms.
