"VINTA" CONTINUES TO INTENSIFY AS IT MOVES TOWARDS THE DIRECTION OF SOUTHERN PALAWAN. - issued AT:8:00 AM, 23 December 2017.
- Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS) No. 1 over Zamboanga Provinces has been lifted.
- Sea travel remains risky over the seaboards of areas under TCWS, the southern seaboard of Mindoro provinces and the western seaboard of Aklan and Antique due to the Tropical Storm.
- Expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility between tomorrow (24 December) morning and afternoon.
- LocatioAt 7:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm "VINTA" was estimated based on all available data at 210 km West Northwest of Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur or 285 km Southeast of Puerto Princesa City (07.9 °N, 120.5 °E) with Maximum sustained winds of 80 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 95 kph moving West at 20 kph.

"VINTA" HAS SLIGHTLY INTENSIFIED AS IT CONTINUES TO TRACK WESTWARD OVER THE SULU SEA - issued 5:00 AM today.
Sea travel is risky over the seaboards of areas under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS), the southern seaboard of Mindoro provinces and the western seaboard of Aklan and Antique due to the Tropical Storm.At 4:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm "VINTA" was estimated based on all available data at 165 km Northwest of Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur (07.9 °N, 121.0 °E) with Maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph moving West at 20 kph.
