"VINTA" MAINTAINED ITS STRENGTH AS IT CONTINUES TO MOVE TOWARD SOUTHERN PALAWAN - ISSUED AT:11:00 AM, 23 December 2017
- Weather Condition: Scattered to widespread moderate to heavy rains will prevail over Palawan, while scattered light to moderate with at times heavy rains is expected over Bicol region, Visayas, Mindanao, and the rest of MIMAROPA within 24 hours. - Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS) No. 1 over Zamboanga Provinces has been lifted.
- Sea travel remains risky over the seaboards of areas under TCWS, the southern seaboard of Mindoro provinces and the western seaboard of Aklan and Antique due to the Tropical Storm.
- Expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility between tomorrow (24 December) morning and afternoon.

Sea travel is risky over the seaboards of areas under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS), the southern seaboard of Mindoro provinces and the western seaboard of Aklan and Antique due to the Tropical Storm.At 4:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm "VINTA" was estimated based on all available data at 165 km Northwest of Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur (07.9 °N, 121.0 °E) with Maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph moving West at 20 kph.
