Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon. Trough of Low Pressure Area (LPA) affecting Southern Mindanao - issued 5:00 AM, 01 February 2018.

As of today, there is no Tropical Cyclone within Philippine Area of Responsibility but Trough of LPA will affect some part of Mindanao.

FORECAST |

Ang rehiyon sa Davao ug SOCCSKSARGEN makasinati sa madag umon nga kalangitan inubanan sa katag katag nga pag ulan kilat ug panalugdog tungod sa Trough sa LPA. Samtang ang ubang dapit sa Mindanao makasinati sa panalagsang pagdag-um ngadto na sa madag-umon nga kalangitan inubanan sa pat-ak pat-ak nga pag ulan, kilat ug panalugdog tungod sa localized thunderstorms. Adunay kasarangan ngadto nasa usahay kusog nga hangin ang  magagikan sa Amihanang sidlakan ngadto sa Amihanang direksyon sa sidlakang bahin niini diin kasarangan ngadto nasa usahay kusog ang balud sa kadagatan. Sa ubang mga dapit sa Mindanao adunay hinay ngadto sa kasarangan nga hangin gikan sa amihanang sidlakan ngadto nasa sidlakang direksyon ug hapsay ngadto sa kasarangan ang balud sa kadagatan.

Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.


Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over the Eastern section of Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Meanwhile, light to moderate winds will prevail over the rest of Visayas with slight to moderate seas. (Source: PAGASA)
