Thanks to PHIVOLCS-DOST  for letting us know the latest seismic events in the Philippines everyday and every moment. As of the first month of 2018, the highest magnitude recorded was on 02 January 2017 with 4.4 Magnitude occurred in the sea at distance of: (1) 090 km S 34° E of Tarragona (Davao Oriental) and (2) 115 km S 58° E of Governor Generoso (Davao Oriental) with "Tectonic" origin.
