SYNOPSIS: Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of the country.
As of today, there is no Tropical Cyclone within Philippine Area of Responsibility meanwhile, at 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 460 km East Northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (12.8 N, 129.5 E).FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS
Western Visayas, Palawan, Mindoro, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite and Batangas will experience Monsoon rains due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains
Metro Manila, Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, Bulacan, Pampanga, Laguna, Rizal and Quezon will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by Southwest Monsoon/Trough of LPA. Possible flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains
Rest of the country will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

July 15
By sunday (july 15), the lpa which is expected to move generally in a north northwest direction over the philippine sea, will enhance the habagat. zambales, bataan, palawan and the mindoro provinces will continue to experience monsoon rains while metro manila, the rest of central luzon, calabarzon, bicol region, the rest of mimaropa, western visayas and the samar provinces will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. the rest of country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.July 16
By monday (july 16), the enhanced "habagat" will bring monsoon rains over zambales, bataan, cavite, batangas, mindoro provinces and palawan. metro manila, rest of central luzon, bicol region, rest of calabarzon and of mimaropa, and western visayas will experience occassional rains. the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
