PAGASA Weather Update for TD "Josie" as of 4:00 PM 21 July 2018.

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression "Josie" was estimated based on all available data including Baguio Doppler Radar at 45 km West Northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (18.4 N, 120.2 E) with maximum sustained winds of up to 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. It is moving East Northeast at 25 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon. SEVERE TROPICAL STORM AMPIL (FORMERLY "INDAY") @ 03:00 PM LOCATION: 950 KM NORTH NORTHEAST OF BASCO, BATANES (27.7 N, 126.9 E) [OUTSIDE PAR] MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 90 KPH GUSTINESS: UP TO 115 KPH MOVEMENT: NORTHWEST AT 25 KPH
FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:
TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING SIGNAL #1: Batanes, Northern Cagayan including Babuyan Group of Islands, Ilocos Norte, Nothern Portion of Ilocos Sur, Apayao amd Northern portion of Abra will experience Rains with Gusty winds due to TD Josie. Possible flooding and landslides due to  scattered to widespread  heavy RAINS.

Metro Manila,  Central Luzon, rest of Ilocos Region, rest of Codillera Administrative Region, rest of Cagayan Valley Region, provinces of Mindoro, Rizal, Cavite and Batangas will experience Monsoon Rains due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains

Rest of Luzon will experience Occasional Rains due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to light to moderate rains

Visayas and Mindanao will have a Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by Localized thunderstorms.
