PAGASA Weather Update for Typhoon "GARDO" as of 4:00 PM - 09 July 2018.

SYNOPSIS:   At 3:00 PM today, the eye of Typhoon "Gardo" was located based on all available data at 1,020 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes  (22.4 N, 131.6 E) with maximum sustained winds of 185  km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 225 km/h. Moving West Northwest at 30 km/h.    Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Metro Manila, MIMAROPA, CALABARZON, Bicol region, Western Visayas and the provinces of Bataan and Zambales will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods  or landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains

While the rest of  the country will experience artly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods  or landslides due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains
