SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, TROPICAL DEPRESSION "LUIS" was estimated based on all available data at 505 km North Northwest of Basco, Batanes (24.7 °N, 120.3 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. It is moving NORTH at 10 Km/h. Meanwhile, the Low Pressue Area was estimated at 1,055 km East of Basco, Batanes (22.0 °N, 132.0 °E). Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of Northern and Central Luzon.
FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Zambales, Bataan, Batanes, and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience Monsoon Rains due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flooding and landslides due to scattered moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods and landslides due to light to moderate at time heavy rains.
