PAGASA Weather Update for LPA and Southwest Monsoon as of 4:00 AM 06 September 2018.

SYNOPSIS: Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas. Meanwhile, at 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at  820 km East of Basco, Batanes (21.2 ºN, 129.8 ºE).

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS:

Cavite, Batangas, MIMAROPA,  Bicol Region, and Western and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon.  Possible floodings and landslides due to  scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized thunderstorms.  Possible flash floods and landslides due to  severe thunderstorms.
