PAGASA Weather Update for LPA & ITCZ as of 4:00 AM 21 September 2018.

Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Location as of 3:00 AM today, 2,006 KM east of Visayas.  The LPA is expected to develop into Tropical Depression within 24-36 hours.  LPA is expected to enter PAR Saturday or Sunday (September 22, 23, 2018).  LPA Track: extreme Northern Luzon.

PAGASA REGIONAL WEATHER FORECAST UPDATE:

NCR: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of NCR-PRSD forecast areas. Light to moderate winds blowing from northeast to southeast will prevail and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

SOUTHERN LUZON: Maulap na kalangitan na may kalat-kalat na mga pag-ulan at pagkidlat-pagkulog ang mararanasan sa Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque at Romblon. Bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan na may pulu=pulong mga pag-ulan o pagkidlat-pagkulog ang iiral sa Kabikulan at Northern Samar. Mahina hanggang sa katamtaman na hangin mula sa Silangan hanggang timog-silangan ang iiral na may banayad hanggang sa katamtaman pag-alon na karagatan.

VISAYAS: Central and Western Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ. Eastern Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds from the East to Southeast will prevail over Palawan and Occidental Mindoro and from the Southwest to West over Visayas with slight to moderate seas.

MINDANAO: Ang Zamboanga Peninsula makasinati sa mapanganuron nga kalangitan inubanan sa katag-katag nga pag ulan kilat ug pagpanalugdog tungod kini sa ITCZ. Samtang ang ubang dapit sa Mindanao makasinati sa panalagsang pagdag-um ngadto nasa madag umon nga kalangitan inubanan sa pat-ak pat-ak nga pag ulan kilat ug pagpanalugdog tungod sa localized thunderstorms. Adunay hinay ngadto nasa kasarangan nga hangin ang magagikan sa habagatang kasagpan ngadto nasa kasagpang direksyon ang kadagatan hapsay ngadto nasa kasarangan ang pagbalud.
