SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm "KONG-REY" was estimated based on all available data at 1,615km East of Southern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) (14.5N, 137.9E) with maximum sustained winds of110 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to135 km/h. MovingNorthwest at20 km/h.

NCR Weather Situation: Metro Manila and the rest of NCR-PRSD forecast area will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds coming from northwest to southwest will prevail over these areas and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
